CHRISTINE DOLD Chamber Choir World of Music 6 Classroom Webpage In addition to working with Valley View Choirs, Ms. Dold teaches nearly all Valley View sixth graders in the World of Music course. She holds a Bachelor of Music degree in Music Education from St. Olaf College and is currently a vocalist with the Twin Cities’ choir Magnum Chorum. | SCOTT LEHRKE Singers 6 Men's Ensemble 8 Freshman Cavaliers Chamber Choir Mr. Lehrke brings his expertise in the changing male voice and single-gender choral music education to his teaching of Valley View’s eighth and ninth grade men’s choirs and Singers 6. He also co-directs Chamber Choir. His Bachelor of Music degree is from St. Olaf College and he holds a Master of Arts in Music Education from the University of St. Thomas. Mr. Lehrke works as Music Director at St. Nicholas Church in New Market, Minnesota. | CHRISTOPHER PIELA Boys' Choir 7 EHS Varsity Choir Classroom Webpage After over fifteen years in Edina Public Schools, Mr. Piela continues to teach Boys’ Choir 7 at Valley View in addition to conducting the Varsity Choir at Edina High School. He earned his B.A. in Music Education from Gustavus Adolphus College and his M.A. in Curriculum and Instruction from Minnesota State University, Mankato. In addition to directing, he is an active composer and arranger. | CATHERINE ZAJAC Girls' Choir 7 Women's Ensemble 8 Freshman Choraliers Chamber Choir A graduate of the College of St. Catherine, Mrs. Zajac has taught classroom and choral music at all grade-levels in Minnesota and Texas. Bringing twenty-seven years’ experience, she teaches Valley View’s women’s choirs in grades seven, eight, and nine, as well as co-directing Chamber Choir, and serving as vocal music director for Valley View’s annual spring musical production. |
